'Love and Respect' Study

'Love and Respect' series will be held at the First Christian Church of Red Bluff is inviting men and women to join them in a study of 'Love and Respect' at 6:30 p.m. beginning Wednesday, Jan. 9, at 926 Madison St.
This study group will meet every Wednesday for 14 weeks. A portion of Dr. Emerson and Sarah Eggerichs' video series 'Love and Respect' will be viewed each week followed by a discussion led by Craig and Charlene Love.
The study covers three major questions:
  • Why do we negatively react to each other in marriage? This will be explained in what is called the crazy cycle.
  • How do I best motivate my spouse? The energizing cycle answers this question.
  • What if my spouse does not respond to me? The rewarded cycle informs us what to do.
A wife has one driving need — to feel loved. When that need is met, she is happy.
A husband has one driving need — to feel respected. When that need is met, he is happy. There is no cost to attend but pre-registration is requested. A book to go along with the series will be available at cost for those wishing to purchase one.
Information and registration is available from the Loves at 527-1506.
