The Worship ministries of Community Baptist Church will present "The Christmas Shoes", a Christmas musical on Sunday at the 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. worship celebrations. The musical will feature music by the Worship Choir and drama by a cast of characters selected from the congregation.
"The Christmas Shoes" is adapted from the novel by the same name by author Donna VanLiere. The story is a tale our shared humanity, of deeper meaning of serendipity and of how a power greater than ourselves can shape, and even save, our lives. Many lives will be touched by a little girl, a pair of sparkly shoes and a workaholic father.
The music for this presentation will be directed by Pastor Mark Franklin. Rhonda Roach will direct the drama team in the telling of this special story of the events in two family¹s lives during the Christmas season.
