Blessing Celebration in Corning

First Christian Church of Corning will celebrate their blessings at 6:30 p.m. this Sunday at 1421 Marin St.The celebration will include old-fashioned hymn singing, a performance by the Family Hour Singers of Chico, followed by a time of refreshments and fellowship. Everyone is welcome.
They are celebrating the 20-year anniversary of the organ and a new roof.For our Sunday morning worship, Rev. Harold Rantin of Sacramento will bring the message, at 11 a.m. Holy Communion will be celebrated and there will be time for children during the service. Sunday School is at 10a.m.The Christian Women’s Fellowship are preparing for a bazaar and working on mission projects.
They are toiletry items for the Hands of Hope Rescue Mission in Red Bluff; Good used (or new) Bibles and other Christian books for the Jesus People in Sacramento who send them to prisons, world-wide, free of charge and they will take coats left from the yard sale earlier this year to the Good News Mission in Redding in November.
Contributions of any of these items are being sought.
